A Universe of Stories: Summer Reading

Calling readers of all ages! It's time for the Dowagiac District Library's Summer Reading Challenge.  In 2019 we set a goal to read 56,000 minutes in 8 weeks as a community.  We surpassed that goal by nearly 20,000 minutes and read a total of 75,814 minutes.

  WOW! Way to go!

Let's work together this summer to read even more.

This year, we are challenging our patrons to read at least 80,000 minutes

Are you ready? Let's go!

The best way to participate this year is to register online using Wandoo Reader. There, you will be able to set personal goals, see how much progress we’ve made as a community in reaching the 80,000 minute goal, log your own progress and complete challenges and earn certificates and badges. If you’re unable to participate online, stop by and pick up a paper reading log.

To register online, click here: https://wandooreader.com/dowagiacdl/dowagiac-district-library-s-summer-reading-program-2020

There will be a grand prize winner from each age group (child, teen and adult) randomly selected at the end of the challenge as well as weekly winners, also randomly chosen.

So no matter if you read a little or a lot, you will have a chance to win a prize!
