The purpose of the Homeschool Science Club (HSSC) is to capture the boundless potential of each child’s capacity to gain science knowledge and learn scientific skills. Monthly activities will emphasize hands-on, inquiry-based learning where children investigate and explain the natural world. The HSSC will meet at 10:30 am in the Pokagon Room on the second level of the library.

Layers of Earth:    Children will learn about the continental crust, mantle, inner core, and outer core while constructing a model showing the layers of the Earth.

Next Generation Sconce Standards (NGSS):     Developing and Using Models (SEP), Plate Tectonics and Large-Scale System Interactions (DCI), and Stability and Change (CCR).

Come to this Homeschool Science Club activity and build a small-scale model of Earth.
