Homeschool Science Club: Phases of the Moon

The purpose of the Homeschool Science Club (HSSC) is to capture the boundless potential of each child’s capacity to gain science knowledge and learn scientific skills. Monthly activities will emphasize hands-on, inquiry-based learning where children investigate and explain the natural world. The HSSC will meet at 10:30 am in the Pokagon Room on the second level of the library.

PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE FOR MARCH!

Moon Phases:    Children will learn about the moon and the changes this celestial body appears to make, while constructing a model showing the lunar phases.

Next Generation Sconce Standards (NGSS):     Developing and Using Models (SEP), The Universe and it's Stars (DCI), and Patterns (CCR).

Come to this Homeschool Science Club activity and build a small-scale model showing the phases of the moon.
