Jerry DeCaire, Marvel-Comics Artist for Deadpool, Wolverine, Thor, and other world-famous superheroes will present his own signature live-drawing performance and workshop here at the Dowagiac District Library on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 10:00am-1:00pm in the community room.

Mr. DeCaire will show how a comic book is made from beginning to end, and the demo-drawings are then given away. In addition to the live drawing demonstrations that walk attendees through the process of drawing superheroes using math, art, and science principles, you will also be provided the materials to create illustrations along with the artist.
